Brian Keith Bauer, 53, of Milltown, died Friday, January 12, 2024, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon. He was born June 1, 1970, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Keith and Bonnie Schad Bauer. He was employed as an airplane mechanic for UPS in Louisville, was a C-130 flight engineer at the Kentucky Air National Guard, was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 2727 in Louisville, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Tanya Davis.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Amy L. Eckart Bauer; his sons, William H. Bauer and Samuel L. Bauer both of Milltown; his brother, Tony Bauer of Lanesville, Indiana; and his sister, Allison Parks (Andrew) of Lanesville.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Paul Walerczak and Pastor Gary Haines will officiate. Burial will be in Thompson’s Chapel Cemetery near Depauw, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Pete Fellows, John King, Tim Chanley, Eric Burke, Ramsey Parks and Mike Jenkins.
