Brian E. Lee, 51, of Corydon, died Monday, February 1, 2021, at his home near Corydon. He was born May 23, 1969 in Bedford, Indiana. He was a 1987 graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School, a 1989 graduate of Vincennes University, worked as a tool and die supervisor at the Ford Motor Company Kentuckiana Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky, was formerly employed at ICON Metal Forming in Corydon and Nth Works in Louisville, and was a member of Corydon Church of Christ. Brian loved fishing, watching baseball games (especially the New York Yankees), was a big IU fan and was an avid history buff.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oliver and Margaret McGuire and Wayne and Ruth Lee; and his nephew, Ethan Shirley.
Survivors include his son, Alex Lee of Corydon; his parents, Donald L. “Don” and Mary L. McGuire Lee of Bedford, Indiana; his sisters, Stephanie Mason (Mark) of Bedford and Patricia Coleman (Vince) of Lexington, Kentucky; his nieces, Olivia Shirley of Evansville, Indiana and Kristina Coleman of Lexington; his nephew, Nikolas Coleman of Lexington; and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Marvin Purkhiser will officiate. There will be a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. EST Saturday at Dixon Chapel Cemetery near Bedford.
Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Sturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mike Fessel, Scott Alford, Rodney Shehorn, Kyle Kasey, Mike Windell and Bradley Flinn.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Dixon Chapel Cemetery.
