Brian Andrew Lamon, Sr., 42, of Lanesville, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at his home near Lanesville. He was born May 24, 1979 in Corydon, Indiana. He was a self employed carpenter, was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Corydon, the Harrison County Cattlemen’s Association, the Southern Indiana Angus Association, and the American Angus Association, and was a coach and board member for the Lanesville Youth League.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and LaVerne Harbeson and George and Phyllis Lamon.
Survivors include his wife, Kirsty Gotting Lamon; his sons, Brian Andrew Lamon, Jr., Ethan Willis Lamon, Nolan Edward Lamon and Dalton James Lamon all of Lanesville; his parents, George and Tammy Harbeson Lamon of Lanesville; his brother, George A. Lamon (Marsha) of Lanesville; and his aunt, Cinda Harbeson of New Albany, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2021, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Corydon. Pastor Evangeline Anderson-Rajkumar will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church.
