Brenda K. Byrne, 74, of Corydon, died Thursday, December 21, 2023, at her home near Corydon.  She was born August 14, 1949, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Elige and Opal Geraldine Bullington Gabbard.  She was retired from Walmart in Corydon and was formerly employed as a cook at the Corydon Middle School. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Gerald, Joe and Larry; and her sisters, Patsy and Geneva and her twin sister, Linda.

 

Survivors include her husband, Tony Byrne; her son, Travis Byrne (Pam) of Corydon; her daughter, Veronica Byrne of Louisville; and her grandson, Denver Bays.

 

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
