Brenda Darlene Morgan

Brenda Darlene Morgan, 76, of Corydon, died Thursday, March 16, 2023, at her home in Corydon.  She was born September 29, 1946, in Washington, Indiana, to the late Norbert and Thelma Belcher Halbert.  She was a retired executive secretary and beloved member of Corydon Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Billy, Johnny, and Ronnie; and her sister, Beverly.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Morgan; her daughters, Angela Kuerzi (Joseph) of Corydon, Stacey Doyle (Joseph) of Charlestown, Indiana, and Laura Stivers (Cristy) of Sellersburg, Indiana; her brother, Donnie Halbert of Washington, Indiana; her sister, Lois Wininger of Washington, Indiana; her grandchildren, Trey, Drew, Cameron, Jordan, Stephanie, Elise, Justin, Joel, Josie, and Reese; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, and from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, with a memorial service to follow.  Rev. Cindy Cushman, Rev. Heather Thiessen, and Rev. Benjamin Burton will officiate.

Inurnment will be at a later date at Pfrimmer’s Chapel Cemetery near Corydon.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Corydon Presbyterian Church.
