Bonnie Louise Wiseman

Bonnie Louise Wiseman, 97, of Mauckport, died Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.  She was born April 26, 1925, in Mauckport, to the late John and Vada Lopp Carver.  She was formerly employed at Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon, was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Central, Indiana, and was a long time correspondent for the Corydon Democrat writing for the North Heth community.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Wilbur Franklin Wiseman; her son, Keith Wiseman; her daughter, Brenda Kaye Wiseman; her brothers, Franklin, Paul, Kelso and Elmer Carver; her sisters, Inez Kingsley, Fern Faith and Violet Herd; her son in law, Bill Bruner; and her daughter in law, Bonnie Wiseman.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Wiseman (Carolyn) of Mauckport, Wilbur Wiseman, Jr. (Debbie) of Mauckport, Jim Wiseman of Mauckport, and Rick Wiseman (Missi) of Corydon; her daughters, Linda Bruner of Henryville, Indiana, Mary Brown (Clifford) of Corydon, and Kathy Hill (Morgan) of Charlestown, Indiana; her daughter in law, Karen Wiseman of Lanesville, Indiana; her grandchildren, Steve, Carol Sue, Vickie Sue, Penny, Sarah, Deborah, Crystal, Alex, and Ricky; and many great and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2022, at Mt. Zion Community Church near Mauckport.  Rev. Gilbert Duley and Rev. Elizabeth Lukemeier will officiate.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Pallbearers will be Alex Wiseman, Steve Bruner, Pat Kelley, Glen Boyle, Dustin Ogden, Donnie Weible, Adam Parr, Zachary Bryant and Rusty Kingsley.  Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Kelley, Kaylor Kelley, Cody Ogden, Thomas Ogden, Nathan Ems, Ethan Pettit, D.J. Weible, Ricky Wiseman and Lee Jackson.
