Blake Douglas Taylor

Blake Douglas Taylor, 16, of Lanesville, Indiana, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023, near Lanesville.  He was born August 27, 2006, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Brent Douglas and Brianna Frances Kennedy Taylor.  He was a junior at Floyd Central High School and was employed at the Jay C store at Highlander Point.  Blake loved gaming, paintball and skateboarding.

Survivors include his parents, Brent and Brianna Taylor; his brother, Lucas Samuel Taylor; his sister, Ella Marie Taylor; his grandparents,  Linda and Frank Kennedy of Taylorsville, Kentucky, Marion Taylor of Pekin, Indiana and Margaret Brown of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; and his great grandmother, Katherine Kennedy of Mt. Washington, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Brother Shawn Dishman will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday and after 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
