Billy Ray Froman, Sr., 85, of Corydon, Indiana, died Thursday, May 22,2025, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon.  He was born April 2, 1940, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Floyd Franklin Froman and Evaleen Fern Voyles Froman.  He was a retired carpenter and loved his horses.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna Lee Ash Froman; his son, Delmas Wayne Froman; his daughter, Catherine R. Froman; his brother, Floyd F. Froman, Jr.; and his sisters, Donna R. Hibbs and Crystal Froman.

 

Survivors include his sons, Floyd Russell Froman, Billy Ray Froman II, and Kent Nash; his daughters, Susan Hubbard, Vickie D. Hopper, Sandra D. Froman, and Penny Fern Duley; his bonus daughters, Michele Bickel, Connie Roberts, and Patty Ummensetter; his brother, David E. Froman; his sister, Marilyn Clee; his bonus boys, Mark Seacat, Michael Froman, and David Froman; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Chad Thompson will officiate. 

 

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
