Betty Jo Jenkins

Betty Jo Jenkins, 82, of Mauckport, died Thursday, February 18, 2021, at her home near Mauckport.  She was born October 12, 1938, near Mauckport, to the late Wilbur and Beulah Wheat Dean.  She was a retired Postmaster in Central, Indiana after 30 years, was formerly employed at the Harrison County Hospital Referral Center in Corydon, was a member of the Heth Township Advisory Board and the Order of Eastern Star, and was a Christian.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Terry Lee Dean; her sister, Darlene Henninger; her grandson, Jamie Timberlake; and her granddaughter, Bobbi Jo Eveslage.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Roger D. Jenkins; her daughter, Debbie White; her step daughter, Missy Sailor (Stacey); her step sons, Thomas Fink (Pam) and Lonnie Fink (Karen); her grandchildren, Alisha Baker, T.J. Fink, Ashley Rutherford, Clay Sailor, and Addison Sailor; 7 grandsons; and 3 granddaughters.

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society.
