Barbara Louise Neafus, 89, of Corydon, died Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon. She was born January 7, 1934, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Leo and Mildred Hamilton Brangers. She was formerly employed at Walmart in Corydon, and as a CNA at Vencor/Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Lee Neafus; her daughter, Mary Wright; her brother, Eugene Brangers; and her sister, Bonnie Saulman.
Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Neafus, Sr. and Kevin Neafus (Colleen) both of Corydon; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
Her funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon. Father Kyle Rodden will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Neafus, Jr., Gage Neafus, Roger Stewart, Jeremy Stewart, Josh Stewart, and Dwight Gresham.
