Barbara Jo Hartman Mueller

Barbara Jo Hartman Mueller, 77, of Lanesville, died Friday, July 3, 2020, at Baptist Health Louisville.  She was born May 13, 1943, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late Carl R. Hartman and Margaret E. Wolfe Hartman Brown.  She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper at W.R. Grace and Company in New Albany, Indiana and at Mulzer Crushed Stone, Inc., was employed as a dietician at Floyd Memorial Hospital and at Floyd County Head Start both in New Albany, was a member of the Pine Ridge Bow Hunters Club, and was a member of the Lutheran faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Irvin F. “Woody” Mueller; her daughters, Pamela Mueller and Bobbie Jo Mueller; her grandchildren, Kaytee and Joey Moreland; her brother, Richard Hartman; and her sisters, Janice Jones and Carol Lang.

Survivors include her son, Tony Mueller of Lanesville; her daughters, Stephanie Mueller-Lausterer of Palmyra, Indiana and Tracy Mueller (Tim Shrebtienko) of Lanesville; her grandchildren, Jessica Burkett, Starr Faith, Breanne Turner (Trent), Austin Boyle, Gabriel Mueller, and Samantha Mueller; her great grandchildren, MaKayla Smith, Natalie Smith, Dalton Faith, Kynlee Thompson, Zoey Burkett, Aspen Taylor, and Clay Mueller; and her sisters, Patricia Cunningham (Frank) of Frostproof, Florida, and Carla Brunner and Ruby Brooks (Larry) both of Corydon.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Brother Vince Garmon will officiate.  Burial will be in Central Barren Cemetery near New Salisbury, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
