Barbara A. (Brooks) House

Barbara Ann (Brooks) House, 63, of Milltown, Indiana, died Monday, October 26, 2020 at her home in Milltown.  She was born May 20, 1957, in Corydon, Indiana, and was raised in Crawford County, Indiana near El Bethel.  She was retired from UPS in Louisville, was formerly employed at Fred Smith Store Fixtures in Depauw, Indiana and was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Gene and Mary Ellen (Moore) Brooks; and her brother, Randall Brooks.

Survivors include her son, Robert House of Greencastle, Indiana; her daughters, Anna Hogan (Tommy) and Melissa House-Batchelor (Christopher) both of Corydon; her beloved caregiver of whom she thought of as a daughter, Rena Retama of Marengo, Indiana; her grandchildren, Morgan, EllyAna, Landon, Madison, Preston, Thomas, Kody, Kaylee and Kameryn; her brother, Dennis Brooks of Corydon; her sister, Debbie Cobb of Lanesville; and many loving extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Philo Jones will officiate.  Burial will be in East Cemetery near Alton, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to East Cemetery or your local animal shelter.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Liebert, Josh Walker, Tommy Hogan, Chris Milligan, Chris Batchelor and Dakota Brooks.
