Alma Frances Crane, 86, of Corydon, died Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at her home near Corydon. She was born January 1, 1939, in Anchorage, Illinois, to the late Clyde and Clara Hanks Evaline. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Corydon and loved gardening and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard E. Crane; her son, Tony Crane; her brother, Junior Evaline; and her sisters, Phyllis Jones and Norma Wilhoite.
Survivors include her sons, Chuck Basham and Leonard C. “Lenny” Crane; her daughters, Cheryl Barton, Sheila Coffman, and Anita Ferguson (Dale); her brother, Raymond Evaline; her sisters, Alice Hensley, Linda Waldridge, Wilma Lewis, and Janet Wise; her sister-in-law, Bonnie Evaline; her grandchildren, Mitchell Coffman, Susan Crawford, Tracy Wheat, and Nathan Waynescott; and her great granddaughter, Breanna Wheat.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor George Payocong will officiate. Burial will be in the Livonia Cemetery in Livonia, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
