Alice S. Weaver, 68, of Corydon, died Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born March 6, 1955, in Corydon, to the late Charles W. and Ina E. Rainbolt Voyles.  She was retired from Clariant Chemicals in Louisville, was a member of Fountain Church near Corydon and the V.F.W. Post 2950 Ladies Auxiliary in Corydon, and loved her family, sewing and animals.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her step father, John W. Bussabarger.

 

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Charles ‘Tom” Weaver; her son, Frank M. Bill, Jr. (Jennifer) of Corydon; her sister, Rebecca L. Faith (Dennis) of Corydon; her half sister, Trudy Bussabarger Dudgeon of Charlotte, North Carolina; and many loving nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Jim Higdon will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Frank Bill, Jr., Dennis Faith, Jr., Matthew Faith, Thad Holton, Zack Windell, Brandon Crayden, and Donnie Ross, Jr..
