Alice M. (Annie) Faith, 94, of Corydon, passed away June 1, 2024, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital.  She was born on October 18, 1929 in Mauckport, Indiana, the daughter of Eskel G. and Olga (Jenkins) Foster.

 

Annie was a homemaker and devoted to her children and grandchildren.  She was a member of Fountain Church near Corydon, Indiana. 

 

She married Darrell W. Faith on her 18th birthday in 1947, and they were married until his death on
April 9, 2004.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Ora and Julia (Miller) Faith; her sister, Annetta Byrum (Luther); her brother and sister-in-law, Eskel G. Foster, Jr. (Louise); brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgil Faith, Wilbur & Marie Faith, Delbert & Effie Faith, Earl & Doretha Faith; her son-in-law, Donnie Phipps; and granddaughter-in law, Allison Faith.

 

She is survived by her children: Becky Phipps, Dennis Faith (Becky), Darla Fischer (Bobby) and Beth Smith (Brian).  Her grandchildren: Darin Phipps (Julie), Dennis Faith, Jr. (Alma), Amanda Bulleit (Jarrod), Allison Fessel (Ricky), Matt Faith, Bryan Maggard (Alaina), Chad Conrad (Kayce), Abaigail Bosler (Dakota), and Chelsey Saulman (Alec).  Her great-grandchildren: Haley Holton (Mitchel); Charles (Courtney), Jake (Kelsey), Kurtis (Bethany) Dowling; Isabelle Phipps, Will, Sophia, and Ben Bulleit; Tyler, Jack, and Brody Fessel; Nathan and Madeline Faith; Hudson, Nash, Rowan, and Remi Maggard; Maddox and Finley Bosler; and John Darrell (J.D.) Faith; and her great-great-grandson, Jamie Dowling.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Tim Johnson will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Brian Smith, Darin Phipps, Dennis Faith, Jr., Matt Faith, Bryan Maggard, and Chad Conrad.

 

Memorial donations may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery.
