Thelma Jean Warren, 85, of Elizabeth, died Monday, April 24, 2017, near Elizabeth, Indiana.  She was born July 5, 1931, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Austin and Mary “Maggie” Wright Gregory.  She was a member of the Lanesville United Methodist Mt. Zion Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Wayne Warren; her brothers, Clyde and Henry Gregory; and her sisters, Edna Kelly, Catherine Jaggers and Mary Kerr.

Survivors include her sons, Larry Warren (Marsha) of Mount Sherman, Kentucky, Ronnie Warren (Linda) of South Carolina, Ray Warren (Jerri) of Depauw, Indiana, and Alco Warren, Jr. (Sheila) of Elizabeth; her daughters, Sharon Gerdon (Dale) of Laconia, Indiana and Debbie Archibald (Michael) of Elizabeth; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Frank Pendleton will officiate.  Burial will be in Depauw United Methodist Church Cemetery near Elizabeth.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Lanesville United Methodist Mt. Zion Church, 2819 Hwy 11, Lanesville, Indiana 47136.

Pallbearers will be Dale, Tony, Jacob and Jarred Gerdon, and Justin, Ray, Jeff and Scott Warren.
