Shirley K. Cunningham

Shirley K. Cunningham, 83, of Laconia, died Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Harrison Springs Health Campus near Corydon.  She was born June 9, 1936, in New Middletown, Indiana, to the late Walter F. and Georgia M. Deutsch Rupp.  She was a farmer, and was a member of Smith Campground United Methodist Church near Dogwood and Indiana Farm Bureau.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Robert Allen Cunningham.

Survivors include her sister, Millie F. Hansen of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; her nieces and nephews, Karen Kennedy, Sally Smither (Vic), Bryan Kennedy, Bill Kennedy (Tina), Susan Wakefield, James Wakefield, Kristin Kennedy, Marcella Cecil and Adam Kennedy; and her good friend, Jack Frederick.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Brother Toney McCutcheon will officiate.  Burial will be in New Middletown United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Smith Campground United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Brad, Jody and Brett Walston, Logan Bryant, Adam Kennedy and Daniel Frederick.
