Roy F. Miller, 76, of Corydon, died Monday, June 24, 2019, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born March 3, 1943, in Corydon, to the late Roy F. Miller, Sr. and Stella Marie Senzenska Miller. He was the retired owner of Miller Food Concessions for 45 years, was a member of the Pisgah Masonic Lodge #32 F&AM in Corydon, the Scottish Rite Valley of George Rogers Clark, the Murat Temple, the American Legion, and Perseverance Chapel United Methodist Church near Corydon, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Alberta Storc.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Barrett Miller; his daughters, Lisa Amy and Christina Miller both of Corydon; his grandchildren, Erica Mills (Anthony), Jacob Hoback, Logan Amy and Damon Miller; his great grandchild, Xavier Mills; his brother, Mike Miller (Karen) of Mauckport; and his sisters, Bea Gehm of North Carolina and Delores Spencer of Florida.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Steve McAfee will officiate. Burial will be in Perseverance Chapel Cemetery near Corydon.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Logan Amy, Damon Miller, Jacob Hoback, Kent Payne, Eric Gehm and Shawn Johnson.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Perseverance Chapel Cemetery Fund or the American Diabetes Association.
