Robert C. "Bobby" Blevens, Jr.

Robert Clayton “Bobby” Blevens, Jr., 71, of Mauckport, died Thursday, March 22, 2018, at his home near Mauckport.  He was born October 26, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Robert Clayton Blevens, Sr. and Dicy B. Dailey Blevens.  He was retired from Navistar International and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Bridget Doe Blevens Satterfield; his brother, Avery “Buddy” Blevens; and his sister, Judy Cadreau.

Survivors include his wife, Freddie Jo Holt Blevens; his sons, Robert Clayton Blevens, III of West Point, Kentucky, and Daniel Eric Blevens and Thomas Joseph Blevens both of Mauckport; his brothers, David “Joe” Blevens (Veronica) of Ramsey, Indiana and Steven “Billy” Blevens (Sharon) of Frankfort, Kentucky; his sisters, Karolyn Nowlan (Wayne) of Grand Island, Florida and Barbara “Sissy” Losey of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Brice, Paris and Layla Blevens, and Randy Satterfield; and his great granddaughter, Amberlee Satterfield.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Marlin Kimball will officiate.  Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Daniel, Thomas, David and Robert Blevens, III, Donnie Clark, and Troy Kimball.
