Rachel Elaine Pate, 67, of Corydon, died Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.  She was born May 17, 1950, in Corydon, to the late James Harold and Ethel Mae Windell Pate.  She worked as a retail cashier and attended the Kigdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John, Kermit Randall and Timothy Pate; and her sisters, Carolyn Miller and Judith Garland Moss.

Survivors include her brothers, Michael and Jesse Pate both of Crossville, Tennessee and Alvin Pate of Buford, Georgia; her sisters, Beverley Henderson of Plant City, Florida and Janet Houghlin and Jennifer Ingram both of Corydon; and many loving nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Speaker Delbert McKim will officiate.

Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
