Melissa H. Forbes Knight, 52, of Georgetown, died Thursday, May 25, 2017, at her home.  She was born April 17, 1965, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Melda Gilmore Bodenstadt.  She was an office manager at LifeSpring Health Services in Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her mother and her brothers, William & John David Hamilton.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph S. Knight; her son, Nathan Pedigo of Laconia, Indiana; her daughters, Alecia Lower (Brian) of Corydon, Melissa Nanez (Casey) of Bardstown, Kentucky, Nicole Cronen (Michael) of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Nikita Lee (Evan) of Laconia, Indiana, Kendra Philpott of Louisville, Kentucky and Savanna Wiseman of Corydon; her brothers, Cecil Hamilton (Ann), Mark Hamilton (Leslie), and Jim Bodenstadt (Sue); her sisters, Coletta Perin (Jim) and Annette Patton (Michael); and her grandchildren, Alexis and Caleb Lower, Mason and Jackson Pedigo, Matthew Wiedeman, Spencer Nanez, Ashton and Avery Cronen, Hudson Lee and Rayce Hadley.

Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Douglas Peters will officiate. 

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday and after 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
