Lynn “Sherrill” Smith, 67, of Corydon, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at her home near Corydon.  She was born November 20, 1949, in Louisville, to the late Edward Hawkins and Pearl Elizabeth “Sandy” Wright Frank.  She was a member of Fountain United Methodist Church near Corydon and was a Mom and Guardian Ad Litem for her 22 loving foster children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Angie Smith; her granddaughter, Lilly Ann Rose Jackson; and her sister, Anita Rickert.

Survivors include her husband, William “Bruce” Smith; her sons, Donnie Ray Dunaway, Jr. (Kim Brown) of Marengo, Indiana, Edward Carver Dunaway of Corydon, and Michael Algin Dunaway of Sellersburg, Indiana; her daughters, Rachel A. Smith of Greensboro, North Carolina, Jessica Lynn Smith of Greenville, Indiana, and Susie Leigh House (Andrew James House) of New Salisbury; her brothers, Bud Frank (Debbie), Mark Frank (Vicki), and Phil Frank (Alicia) all of Louisville; her sisters, Debbie Hile (Tom) of Louisville, and Terri Willoughby (Rick) of Orlando, Florida; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Jim Higdon will officiate.

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
