Lorraine “Jane” Quebbeman, 93, returned to her savior to join her beloved husband of 70 years on 20 December 2017. She spoke her last of many words while surrounded by her loving family.  The woman behind the man, she was matriarch of 5 generations during her husband’s long and successful military career. A woman of strength who valued of education, her support inspired her family to pursue their dreams. She will forever be remembered as “Grandma Jane”, who spoiled her family with jelly beans, Lindor truffles, and mini Snickers. A devoted Christian, she was a member of Lincoln Hills Christian Church and enjoyed an active life in the fellowship of her faith community.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, her daughter Elaina Searcy, and her son Peter Quebbeman. 

She is survived by her daughter Diana Freibert (Charlie), grandchildren Christy Evola, Caryn Plemmons (John), Susan Doyle, and Adam Quebbeman, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation Saturday December 23rd at 11am followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:30pm at Lincoln Hills Christian Church, Corydon, IN.
