Lois R. James

Lois R. James, 71, of Corydon, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at her home near Corydon.  She was born April 11, 1948, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Raymond and Eula Neice Mullins.  She was a former manager at the Dollar General Store and attended Oak Grove United Methodist Church near Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Robert Luther Maples, Jr., and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Dale James, Sr.; her sons, Paul A. Maples (Lisa) and Anthony W. Maples (Carol) both of Corydon; her daughter, Londa R. Hazel of Utica, Indiana; her stepsons, Larry Dale James, Jr. (Jenny) and Levi Duke James both of Jeffersonville, Indiana; her sisters, Thelma Minnix and Marry Curry both of Jeffersonville and Linda Hendrick of Sellersburg, Indiana; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
