Lawrence William “Will” Mullins, 48, of Elizabeth, died Friday, August 11, 2017, at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville. He was born February 2, 1969 in Louisville. He was a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant, having served in Afghanistan where he was awarded the Bronze Star, and was formerly employed at USIC in Indianapolis and at French Lick Casino and Resort.
He was preceded in death by his father, William E. “Bill” Mullins; and his brothers, Tommy and Gary Bunch.
Survivors include his son, Christopher William Mullins (Abby) of New Middletown; his daughter, Skylar Michelle Mullins of Elizabeth; his mother, Connie L. Waldridge Mullins of Elizabeth; his brothers, Donald Mullins (Beth) of Louisville and Rick Mullins (Debi) of Elizabeth; his sister, Karen Griffin of Palmyra; and his grandson, Jaydon Christopher Mullins.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Sister Susan Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Old Goshen Cemetery near Laconia.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Rogers, Kevin Steen, Todd McCord, Joe Chaplin, Willie Popp and Bobby Brooks.
