Larry Lloyd Trivette, 71, of Corydon, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017, at his home with his family by his side.  He was born October 19, 1945, in Statesville, North Carolina, to the late Clyde Clinton and Marietta Shoemaker Trivette.  He was a U.S. Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War and an over the road truck driver for 30 plus years.  He was passionate about farming, horses, riding and watching western movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers-in-law, Richard Shoemaker and Jack Jolly.

Survivors include his wife, Dottie Trivette; his son, Brandon Trivette (Shannon) of Lexington, South Carolina; his daughter, Kim Sarles (Jeff) of Greenville, Indiana; his brother, Charles Trivette of Harmony, North Carolina; his sisters, Lillian Shoemaker and Linda Jolly both of Statesville, North Carolina; his grandchildren, Caylah, McKenzie, Jonathan and Josh; and his great grandchildren, Collin and Blake.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
