Kenneth A. Best

Kenneth A. Best, 85, of Elizabeth, died Friday, October 18, 2019, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon.  He was born April 13, 1934, in Elizabeth, to the late Harold and Elsie Saddler Best.  He was self employed in concrete construction, was a member of Old Union Community Church near Elizabeth, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, William, Charles and Cecil Best.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn M. Sprayberry Best; his sons, William H. Best (Sheila) of Corydon and Greg Best (Melissa) of Elizabeth; his daughters, Regina Phipps (Dave) of Corydon, Connie Musgrove (Terry) of Elizabeth and Pamela Bryant (Kerry) of New Middletown; his brother, Dallas Chester Best (Kathy) of Georgetown, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Tyler Best will officiate.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Danny Spencer, Josh Bryant, Joe Stahl, Daniel Musgrove, Jason Phipps, and John Best.
