Jim Johnson

Jim Johnson, 74, of Laconia, died Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  He was born July 25, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Robert and Lilly Kremiller Johnson.  He was the owner of Johnson Mechanical Contractors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son in law, Matt Schmelz; and his brother, Gordon Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Elvera R. Johnson; his son, Doug Johnson; his daughter, Sophia Schmelz; his brother, Bob Johnson; and his sisters, Shirley McLaurin and Judy Beaver.

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
