James B. "Jim" McMillan

James B. “Jim” McMillan, 78, of Leavenworth, died Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.   He was born July 25, 1940, in Johnson County, Indiana, to the late Albert David and Evelyn Mae Bruce McMillan.  He was a retired bank examiner at LG&E in Louisville and attended Pfrimmer’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Corydon and Carefree Christian’s Missionary Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Parkhill McMillan; his son, Aaron S. McMillan (Elizabeth) of Leavenworth; and his two grandchildren, Noah & Anna McMillan

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Steven Parkhill will officiate.  Burial will be in Tower Cemetery near Carefree.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  

Pallbearers will be Todd Pickard, Rick Sillings, Duane Carlisle, Carl Smith, David Allen, George Grant, Dusty Grant and Daniel Pickard-Carlisle
