Jacie Fern "Peggy" Taylor

Jacie Fern “Peggy” Taylor, 92, of Corydon, died Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born September 28, 1926, in Corydon, to the late Clarence and Myrtle Byrnes Neafus.  She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Pete” Taylor; her parents; her brothers, Amzie, Bobby, Ernie & Bud Neafus; her sister, Irma Reister; one great granddaughter and one great great granddaughter.

Survivors include her sons, Jeff  Taylor (Michele), Scott Taylor (Teresa) and Mark Taylor (Nancy) all of Corydon; her daughter, Marsha Lopp (Butch) of Mauckport, Indiana; her niece, Rueann Shewmaker of Corydon; her nephew, Tim Reister of New Albany, Indiana; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Jim Higdon will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 12:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie and Randy Lopp, Cory Taylor, Bary Hornickle, Marty Snyder and Nathan Kintner.  Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Stonecipher and Mark Draper.
