Evelyn M. Baker

Evelyn M. Baker, 93, of Corydon, formerly of Evansville, Indiana, joined God in Heaven on Saturday, June, 22, 2019.  She was born October 16, 1925, in Evansville, to the late Alva and Margaret Hahn Gore.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the V.F.W. Post 1114 Ladies Auxiliary both in Evansville.  Recently, Evelyn and her husband of 74 years, Jack, have resided in Corydon to be near family.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Baker; her son, James Baker (Nellouise); and her granddaughters.

There will be a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Epiphany Lutheran Church near New Salisbury, Indiana.

Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon is in charge of arrangements.
