Evelyn “Louise” Martion, 88, of Louisville, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 27, 2017, at her daughter’s home near Corydon, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born August 8, 1929, in Louisville, to the late Herbert and Georgia Woolfolk Roberts.  She was formerly employed at ICI Americas in Charlestown, Indiana and was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin J. Martion; her daughter, Karen Anne Ingram, her sister, Mary Elizabeth Huckleberry; her brother, J.T. Roberts; and her great grandson, Travis D. Pickerill.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Mae Welch (Bill Rudey) of Corydon and Darlene Smith (Ed) of Greenville, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jody Welch (Jackie), Gary Welch, Kevin Welch (Jeni), Tammy Welch, Cindy Lee, Phillis Grugel (Charlie), Matthew Smith (Tiffany), Angela Cross (Tyler), Travis Pickerill (Fawn) and Trent Pickerill (Amy); her great grandchildren, Joshua Welch, Brittany Sillings, (Ricky), Brandon Welch, Caitlyn Loetz (Cody), Logan Welch (Alicia), Stephen Welch, Morgan Welch, Gracie Welch, Justin Voyles, Britney Manship (Shane), Taylor L. Voyles, Ashley Deaton, Rachel Deaton, Shelby Deaton, Georgia Grugel, Bella Smith, Emma Smith, Gunner Pickerill, Colton Pickerill, Emma Pickerill and Samantha Bradley; and 7 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Brother Sam Watkins will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jody, Gary and Kevin Welch, Matthew Smith, and Travis and Trent Pickerill.
