Elnora May Sutton, 84, died Friday, November 30, 2018, at Bluegrass Community Hospital in Versailles, Kentucky. She was born December 1, 1933, to the late Charles and Mayme Ethel Miller Nance. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elizabeth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry J. Sutton; her son, Kevin Sutton; her brothers, Edward, Clarence and Earl Nance; and her sisters, Darlene Best and Hazel Fulton.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry Sutton of Elizabeth, Larry Sutton (Kim) of Elizabeth, Norman Sutton (Hilda) of Borden, Indiana, and Mark Sutton (Teresa) of Elizabeth; her daughters, Kim Upton (Alan) of Portland, Tennessee, Kellie Rector of Frankfort, Kentucky, Kristie McCoy (Dan) of Frankfort, and Anita Underwood of Corydon; her grandchildren, Corie Sutton, Amanda Withers (Andy), Windy Wagamuth, Mitchell Simpson, Jennifer Carnley (Jesse), Mark Sutton II (Sarah), Steven Sutton (Brandice), Danielle McMillin (Cody), Rebecca Sawyer (Justin), Nichole Miller, Keva Shenk, Jasmine Sutton, Rianna Sutton, Misti Dorman (Brock), Ashley Gray (Robert), Samantha Caudle (Scott Givens), Susannah Cooke, Denise Yount (Dave Wakeman), Kennedy McCoy, and Brandon Underwood; and 26 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor John Sampson will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery near Elizabeth.
Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Sutton II, Steven Sutton, Dan McCoy, Alan Upton, Jesse Carnley, and Andy Withers.
