Doris Keller Kemp, 96, of Corydon, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon. She was born August 12, 1922, in Corydon, to the late Colwell and Emma Keller Frakes. She was an author and homemaker, worked at Faith, Hope and Love Shop for fourteen years, and was a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Oliver Kemp; her son, David E. Kemp; her infant daughter, Peggy Ann Kemp; her brother, Robert Frakes; and her sister, Alice Benton.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry L. Kemp (Judy) of Boonville, Indiana and Frank and Scott D. Kemp both of Corydon; her daughter, Barbara E. Radmacher (Bill) of Corydon; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2019, at Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon. Rev. Andy Hansen and Michael Radmacher will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and after 12 p.m. Monday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Bob Stem, Carl Whitman, Allen Edwards, Lester Rhoads, Larry Hauswald and Jerrell Wiseman.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Old Capitol United Methodist Church.
