Dee Anna Windell, 74, of Corydon, died Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. She was born July 18, 1943, in Johnson County, Indiana, to the late Robert Joseph and Dorothy Mae Huntsman Chumley. She was a retired managing inn keeper at the Kintner House Inn and was a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church both in Corydon.
Survivors include her husband, Paul W. Windell; her daughters, Gail L. Terry (H. R.) of Henryville, Indiana and Sara J. Faith (Jeffery) of Corydon; her grandchildren, Lukas, Kelcie, Haley & Gracie; and her brothers, Oren Chumley (Sharon) of Corydon, Harold Chumley (Alexa) and Kerry Chumley (Anita) both of Elizabeth, and Dennis Chumley (Linda) of Corydon.
Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Andy Hansen will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer’s Association, or Harrison County Special Olympics.
