David Wayne Schwartz, 27, of Corydon, died Friday, August 23, 2019, at the Norton Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born August 18, 1992 in Louisville. He was a graduate of Corydon Central High School and Ivy Tech, and was employed at Amazon in Jeffersonville.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Wayne Alcorn; his grandfather, Nolan Schwartz; his great grandmother, Jane Omerso; and his uncle, Charles Craft, Jr..
Survivors include his parents; Charles William “Billy” and Carolyn Craft Schwartz of Corydon and Alice Fay and Donald Hanger of Palmyra, Indiana; his grandparents, Rachel Schwartz of Corydon, Mary Faith of Georgia, and Ron and Millie Kindeman of Sellersburg, Indiana; his brothers, Mark Alcorn, Jr. (Kristy) of Palmyra and Steve Overton, Jr. of New Salisbury; his sister, Amanda Davis (Brandon) of Henryville, Indiana; his uncles and aunts, Robert and Karen Schwartz, Karen Craft, Charalee Sanchez, and Jeff & Jennifer Faith; his best friend, Jordan Diebold; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Dave Colbert will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society or Hosparus Health of Louisville.
