Darrell Wayne Bussabarger, 75, of Corydon, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at his home near Corydon. He was born November 21, 1942, in Corydon, to the late Raymond and Alice Mathes Bussabarger. He was a retired mechanic, was a member of Northwest Christian Church near Depauw, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Old Capital Aerie #2794 in Corydon, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his children, Darrell W. Bussabarger and Dara Nicole Bussabarger.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Beverly Akers Bussabarger; his sister, Brenda Utz (Rick); his niece and nephew, Jessica and Dathan Utz; and his great niece, Zoe Utz.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Webster Oglesby will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery near Corydon.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Gethsemane Cemetery Fund or the American Kidney Fund.
Pallbearers will be Mike, Darin and Owen Bussabarger, Kevin Wade, Dathan Utz and Don Akers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Brown and Sammy Coffman.
