Daniel Fredrick Walther, 61, of Corydon, died Monday, December 2, 2019, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born December 28, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late James and Eunice Rou Walther. He was a retired auto technician at Highland Automotive near Edwardsville, Indiana and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville, Indiana.
Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Dee Kellems and Jamie Kay Walther both of Corydon; his brother, Thomas James Walther of Corydon; his sister, Rebecca Kessinger of Georgetown, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Felix, Fiona, Fletcher, Gabe and Izzy.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Mark Carnahan will officiate. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery near Lanesville.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Pallbearers will be Jamie, Felix and Travis Walther, Jacob Kessinger, and Fiona and Fletcher Tinius.
