Clarice Jacobs Kinzer, 93, of Laconia, died Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. She was born May 24, 1926, in Mauckport, Indiana, to the late Grover and Blanche Hisey Jacobs. She was a retired inspector at ICI Americas near Charlestown, Indiana, was formerly employed at M.Fine and Sons Shirt Factory in New Albany, IMCO in Jeffersonville, and General Electric in Louisville, was a former food demonstrator at Walmart in Corydon (where she showed her love of talking and sharing with people) and was a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church near Laconia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marion Kinzer; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Paul G. Kinzer (Bonnie) of Clarksville, Indiana, Roger G. Kinzer (Catherine) of Elizabeth, Indiana and Bill Kinzer of New Albany; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Richard Goodwin will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery near Laconia.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be James Saylor, Brian Baumann, Joe Noel, Gary Ripperdan, Tony Williams and Tad Whitis.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Rehoboth Cemetery Foundation.
