Bonnie Jean Cunningham, 90, of Corydon, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Diversicare of Providence in New Albany, Indiana. She was born March 30, 1929, in Princeton, Indiana, to the late Radius and Nellie Richards Garland. She was formerly employed at ICI Americas in Charlestown, Indiana, and was a member of the V. F. W. Post 2950 Ladies Auxiliary in Corydon and Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Cunningham, Jr.; her sons, Ronnie Wayne, Randall Ray and Michael Todd Cunningham; and her sister, Rose Duggins.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Lee Cunningham (Nancy) of Friendswood, Texas; her daughters, Sandra Sue Mann of Corydon and Marcia Ann Smith of Louisville, Kentucky; her brother, Donald Garland of Elizabeth, Indiana; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Michael P. Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 12:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Pallbearers will be Chris Smith, Ronnie Mann, Jr., Joshua, Jon and Trey Saulman, Cole Wayne and Brian Cunningham and Alex Cline.
