Barbara Winston Timberlake, 74, of Corydon, went to her heavenly home on Friday, March 10, 2017, at Baptist Health-Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born October 30, 1942, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Ralph Winston and Alphrietta Jean Gurtz Beauchamp.  She was a retired CNA, was a member of the Mauckport United Methodist Church and the Energetic Homemakers, was the past president of the American Legion and V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliaries in Corydon, was the former Conductress of the 8th district of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, was the president of the Capital Court Council, and was a devoted republican who worked hard for the party.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph E. “Buster” Timberlake, Sr.; her son, Ralph E. Timberlake, Jr.; her granddaughter, Nicolette Barbara Beauchamp; and her brother, Earl Lewis.

Survivors include her daughter, Robin R. Ayres (Larry Harmon) of Corydon; her sons, John W. Timberlake (Erica) of Mauckport, Timothy L. Beauchamp (Lynne) of Youngstown, Ohio, and Kerry D. Timberlake of Jeffersonville, Indiana; her brothers, Mike Lewis of Corydon, Orville Lewis of Milltown, and Warren Lewis of Depauw; her sister-in-law, Janie Lewis of Palmyra; her grandchildren, Jessica Ayres, Victoria Ayres, Paige Knisley, Megan Timberlake, Ian Beauchamp, Cody Timberlake, John Edwin Timberlake, Kerry Timberlake, Jr., Tony Timberlake, Tonya Hill, Sherry Timberlake, and Jeff Timberlake; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Mark Windley will officiate.  Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery near Laconia.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Pallbearers will be Jessica and Victoria Ayres, John and Tony Timberlake, Travis McKim, John Mott, Bradley Wiseman, and Donnie Harshfield.
