William E. "Bill" McCloskey, Sr.

William E. “Bill” McCloskey, Sr., affectionately known as “Pop” by his family, 72, of Corydon, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon.  He was born February 27, 1952, in Farmington, Michigan, to the late Thomas and Deloris Richardson McCloskey.  He was a retired refrigeration mechanic for PepsiCo in Dallas, Texas and was a driver for Blue River Services in Corydon. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, William E. “Billy” McCloskey, Jr..

Survivors include his wife, Connie S. Bentley McCloskey; his daughter, Holly Smith (James); his grandchildren, Ashley Totty, Katherine McCloskey, Autumn Lillpop, Davin McCloskey, Emily McCloskey, Kelly Smith, and Allison Smith; and his great grandchildren, Easton, Brantley, Piper, Reagan, Ellie, Violet, Ava, Javier, Aria, and Sophia.

There will be a memorial visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
