Larry Lee Stepro

Larry Lee Stepro, 83, of Corydon, Indiana, died Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Hosparus Health Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born March 18, 1940, in Corydon, to the late Lee Boone Stepro and Elsie Ellen Feller Stepro Bailey.  He was retired from Restonic in New Albany, was formerly employed at Heritage Hardwoods in Jeffersonville, Indiana and Saulman Brothers Tree Service in Corydon, was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the V. F. W. Post 2950 both in Corydon and the American Legion in Elizabeth, Indiana, and was a   U. S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Gary Stepro; his step daughter, Carrie Dobson; his brothers, William, Paul and Carlton Stepro; and his sisters, Virginia Sawyer, Joyce Florence, and Nancy Sue Stepro Stowers.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Wiseman Stepro; his sons, Jerry Lee Stepro (Carla) and Larry Thomas Stepro both of Corydon; his daughter, Christy Stepro of Texas; his sisters, Betty Crone of Corydon and Delores Smith of New Albany, Indiana; his grandchildren, Justin Stepro (Bri), Travis Blanford, Thomas Cox, Elizabeth Cox, and Emma Dobson; his great grandchildren, Benson and Barrett Stepro; and his loving fur friend, Bud.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Darren Carey will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Lowe, Sr., Gerald Lowe, Jr., Eddie Mathes, Carl LaHue, Richard Uhl, and Joe Barrow.
