Arthur "Loyd" Byerley, Jr.

Arthur “Loyd” Byerley, Jr., 55, of Corydon, Indiana, died Sunday, April 14, 2024, near Corydon.  He was born January 18, 1969, in Corydon, to the late Arthur L. Byerley, Sr. and Mary “Louise” Marcum Byerley.  He was a self employed mechanic, was a huge NASCAR and UK Basketball fan and loved reading, hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his new grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Beverly Kincaid.

Survivors include his wife, Joann Miller Byerley; his daughters, Cheyenne Patterson (Taylor) of Georgetown, Indiana and Abigail Byerley of Corydon; his grandson, Lane Patterson; his sisters, Diane Trowbridge (Glendon) of Corydon and Paula Faith (Lonnie) of Mauckport; and many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Sister Anna Maria Drost will officiate.  Burial will be in Hursttown Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Bement, Ryan Bement, Jacob Wright, Michael Trowbridge, Elizabeth Trowbridge and Chuck Atwood.
