Vesta Mae Enden, 81, died Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.  She was born December 4, 1935, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, to the late Birchell and Catherine Couch Jones.  She was a member of the Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Belva Jones; her sister, Irene Caudill; and her grandsons, Brian Brashear, and Justin and Daniel Whitaker.

Survivors include her sons, David J. Ison (Anita) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Dale Whitaker of Corydon, Denver Whitaker (Tessa) of Whitesburg, and Danny Whitaker of Hanover, Indiana; her daughters, Caretta Brashear of Chatsworth, Georgia, and Carolena Adams and Christy Whitaker both of Scottsburg, Indiana; her brothers, Paul Jones (Brenda) of Hardinsburg, Kentucky, Richard Jones (Arkie) of Austin, Indiana, Bill Jones of Whitesburg, and Coy Jones (Ramona) of Meadowview, Virginia; her sisters, Lucy Jones (Leon) of Scottsburg, and Sarah Collins of Bristol, Virginia; her grandchildren, Kendra Harrison, Robin Cuthbert, Brandon Brashear, Regina Palermo, Coeburn Ison, Bridgytt Ison, Brenda Teepe, Jason Whitaker, Mikayla Whitaker, Josh Whitaker, Tiffany Callihan, Nikki Whitaker, Christopher Whitaker, Stacey Smith, Stephen Adams, and Jeremy Adams; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Brother Randy Johnson will officiate.  Burial will be in Central Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
