Roy Kenneth Morgan, 94, of Elizabeth, died Friday, July 22, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon. He was born December 15, 1921, in Elizabeth, Indiana, to the late Edgar Isaac and Ruby Mae Hottell Morgan. He was a farmer and was a veteran of WWII where he served as a member of the 389th Bomb Group of the U.S. Army Air Corps.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marjorie Davis McInteer Morgan; his daughter, Elaine McKnight; his sisters, Pearl Kirkham, Ruth Watson and Darlene Bour; and his grandchildren, Stacy Brewer and Ronald Biddle, Jr..
Survivors include his daughters, Jean Dean (Nelson) of Elizabeth, Marianne Russel (Marshall) of Laconia and Sandy Miller (Bill) of Elizabeth; his sister, Bonnie Speicher of Elkhart, Indiana; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Greg Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery near Elizabeth.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian and Todd McKnight, Randy Brown, Joe Sepanek, Sam Mills and Darrell Summers.
