Ronald Lynn “Ronnie” Summers, 50, of Laconia, Indiana, died Friday, April 14, 2017, at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born July 30, 1966 in Corydon, Indiana. He was a self employed carpenter and farmer, was formerly employed at Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon and Norstam Veneers near Mauckport, was a member of FFA, 4-H and the Union Chapel Christian Church near Laconia, and was currently active in the Flea Market in Mauckport.
Survivors include his daughter, Megan E. Summers of Mauckport; his step son, Dalton Day (Raechal) of Elizabeth; his mother, Shirley Miller Williamson of Laconia; his father and step mother, Ronald M. and Agnes Summers of Elizabeth; his grandson, Carson Reed Summers; his sisters, Tammy Collard (Charles) of Laconia and Regina Reas (Jim) of Corydon; his half sisters, Deanna Behr (Joe) and Brenda Smith (Kevin) both of Elizabeth; and his half brother, Ron Summers (Jessica) of Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Sharon Kutz-Mellem will officiate. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery near Laconia.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dalton Day, Steve Graff, Andrew Edge, Scott Phipps, Bradley Wiseman, Ronald Knear and Jeff Wolfe. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Miller and Roger Reed.
