Pauline L. Lind, 95, of Lanesville, died Monday, April 3, 2017, at Westminster Health Care Center in Clarksville, Indiana.  She was born January 6, 1922, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Robert and Mary Schneider Blank.  After graduating from the New Albany Business College, she worked at a bank in New Albany. She also worked as a clerk at the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lanesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Chester Lind; her brothers, David and Chester Blank; and her sisters, Emma Foreman, Mildred Schoen and Fern Rosenbarger.

Survivors include her sons, Ronald C. Lind (Doris) of Lanesville and Darrell R. Lind (Jan) of Elizabeth, Indiana; her daughters, Jane Gettelfinger (Jerry) of Depauw, Indiana and Rosemary Olive (Lindsay) of Lexington, Kentucky; her brother, Franklin Blank of Decatur, Texas; her grandchildren, Joshua Lind, Holly Lind, Kelley Klinefelter (Sam), Nathan Lind (Suzanne), Dale Lind, Adam Gettelfinger (Amanda), Ryan Lind (Amy), Eric Gettelfinger, Keith Gettelfinger and James Olive; and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lanesville.  Pastor Ronald Richeson will officiate.  Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Pallbearers will be Joshua, Nathan, Dale and Ryan Lind, and Adam, Eric and Keith Gettelfinger.
