Although I did not know her for very long, I was so impressed by her gentleness and warmth, and her knowledge of all things Mauckport. She was so kind to send me historical information on Mauckport and the Steamboat Alice Dean after the Mauckport Reunion a couple of years ago.. Just to have known her is a treasure in itself and I do pray for her family and those so close to her. Although we have sorrow at her loss, I am sure that there is great joy in heaven at her entry. Look forward to seeing you again one day, Miss Nina.
