Martha L. Whistle, 83, of Corydon, died Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.  She was born April 11, 1933, in East Prairie, Missouri, to the late Samuel Barton and Violet Zuck Holland.  She was formerly employed at the Wood Mosaic Flooring Company in Louisville and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Ohio and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Louisville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Clarence Eugene Duncan, Jr.; her brothers, Alvey, Jimmie Dale and Howard Ray Holland; and her sister, Beatrice Sherman.

Survivors include her son, Lowry A. Duncan (Robin) of Mauckport, Indiana; her daughter, Juanita L. Belcher (Oscar) of Mauckport; her sister, Alma Geraldine Collard of Corydon; her grandchildren, Carita Wood, James Alan Belcher, Heather Hicks, Channon Rehder, and Carrie, Kimberly and Eugene Duncan; and many great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Minister Susan Phillips will officiate.  Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery near Laconia, Indiana.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
